KENNETH DAVID WILLIAMS Kenneth David Williams, 88, a longtime seasonal resident of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026, surrounded by his family. Ken was born November 2, 1937, in Granville, New York, the son of Welsh-born parents Myfanwy Evans and William R. Williams. Raised during the Depression in the Slate Valley region of New York and Vermont, he earned a scholarship to Clarkson College of Technology and received his degree in accounting. Ken decided in eighth grade that he wanted to become a CPA. In 1959, he joined Lybrand, Ross Bros. Montgomery, beginning a career with the firm that would span decades. The firm later became Coopers Lybrand and ultimately PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Ken eventually became a senior partner in its Syracuse, New York, office.
